Kirsten's first NOTD!

Hello, anyone who might be reading this. Today, I have my very first nail of the day. The OPI Swiss collection was mostly uninspiring to me (Diva of Geneva is just not my style at all, though I know a lot of people really love it), but there were two polishes that I knew I needed right away (that turned into three, but that doesn't matter) and one of them was today's nail of the day, Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous.

I effing love this colour. It comes in the Swiss-ables mini set and the minute I saw it, I knew I was going to end up getting the large version. But part of me was trying to spare my wallet (poor wallet...) and I told myself that it might not even look good on me or that I might not even like it. It was all a filthy lie, of course.

I think the name is a bit crap, but it's not as horrible as some other OPI names that I can think of...

I took these right outside our door, and it was freezing!

Oooh, my right hand, just to mix it up. Yep, still love the hell out of this.

The polish was a bit rough once I finished painting my nails (I used two coats, a thinner first coat and a thicker second), but I just slapped some Seche Vite over top and they feel perfect now. I really love this colour!
