The base is two coats of China Glaze Frostbite, which is a pretty fantastic colour all on its own. It's a BRIGHT blue shimmer, and it turned out to be a polish that Kirsten and I had some trouble tracking down. We originally tried to order it online from 8ty8, but it was sold out. Boo. Then when we discovered that we had a Sally's within a reasonable distance, we looked for it there, but it was sold out again. Boo.
On top of Frostbite is one coat of FingerPaints Laugh My Art Off, which is a clear base full of light-ish blue glitter. I'm not sure how many coats it would take to make it opaque, but I felt like one was more than enough for layering on top of Frostbite.
On a happier note, we had someone respond to our sexy manicure challenge! Karen from A Little Glitter and Sparkle gave herself a manicure inspired by some flowery lingerie, you should all definitely check it out and give her some love. If anyone else has participated in this challenge, we'd love to see what you came up with!
So bright! Wow!
ReplyDeleteGreat sparkles! I love Frostbite. You can't go wrong with blue and sparkles!
ReplyDeleteSparkly overload!! I say YES!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this color. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay you broke a nail, I think shorter nails look better anyways, not that yours were too long! But anything longer than in these pictures I'm not really a fan of, it gets tacky! haha.
