Whoo pink Wednesday!

Hello lacquered lovelies! Happy hump day! I'm so happy because I finally have a day off - and tomorrow too! Sadly, my plans to swatch are ruined due to the lack of sunlight *glares at sky* but I have some other stuff planned and I'll do my best. That said, I apologize for the lighting. I tried going outside but I think the pictures I took under my lamp looked slightly better... six of one and half a dozen of the other though, really!

After my last pink Wednesday post, quite a few people asked me why I don't post on Zoya more often. Once again, I don't want to get into the reasons for it, but this is another pink (ish?) Zoya that I have, so I guess I'll post on it! So today I'm wearing Zoya Sachi, with a coat of Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter (loooove) on my ring finger. Two coats of Sachi, no topcoat.

Then I tried adding a coat of Sachi over my accent nail, since it's a bit sheer and squishy looking.

Ugh fail. It didn't come out the way I wanted it to at all. The glitter isn't there enough for me! It's like this is glitter in a subtle way or something... not how I roll. ;)

That's it from me today, short and sweet. I'm going to go get ready, I'm having a Skype movie date with a friend in Ireland. We're watching Harry Potter!

And don't forget, lovelies, as always, you can sit with us by joining here. Please do, I go and look at everyone's blogs every Wednesday! :)

What do you lovelies think? Do you want to see more Zoya posts? I could try and get some done for you guys but my problem with Zoya is mainly their formula - it never flipping dries on me! Maybe just some swatches? Are you wearing pink today? Have you done any fun accent nail manis lately?

Thanks for reading! Have a beautiful day!

  1. I did a bling ring finger for my We Wear Pink on Wednesday post as well! I'm not normally a pink fan, but I like Sachi because it's more in the watermelon family than bubblegum pink! Very cute!

  2. LOVE this colour. I am a sucker for zoya pinks, something I think they do so well!

  3. I AM wearing pink and it's Zoya as well, Barbie. At first I was undecided as it's kind of sheer and after 3 coats there still VNL. But it is a pretty color with a slight iridescence to it. I'm thinking some kinda nail art to liven it up, it seems too tame for me LOL. I ordered it for my daughter based solely on the name!

  4. It's Zoya Anthea for me. I think it's more of a red toned pink if anything, but it's so pretty. The dry time was fine for me. The only problem with dry time that I've encountered was with Ki (out of the 7 or 8 that I've tried). I own 11.

  5. I've never heard of this shade and I'm pretty sure I skimmed the list many times already. Looks great on ya!

  6. It's a perfect pink for the Pink Wednesday theme.

That's pretty cool to Skype with a friend and watch a movie together. Hope you both have fun. :)
