Hi lacquered lovelies! I know that you've probably figured out (those aren't my hands! I wish they were though, I love Cristina's nails so much <3333) that my surprise is guest posts! Three of them, from three of my favourite bloggers. :) I'll need more guest posters for a week in July... I have a couple of people I'd like to ask but if you're interested, email me! I'd like to start making this a more consistent thing... anyway, look at Cristina's gorgeous watermarble! So jealous.
Hello lovely ladies (and boys if you're out there)
I've been doing guest posts Left and Right lately but when the awesome Kirsten asked if I wanted to guest post on her blog I jumped on it because I love this blog and the awesome girl behind it. So for this guest post I decided to do something special that I rarely ever do... WATERMARBLING!!! If you follow my blog you may know that this technique and I don't usually get along. I tend to run out of patience very quickly and usually end up giving up halfway though. Well not this time! Behold!! My second ever successful watermarble!! I'm so glad it turned out pretty because I wanted to do something extra special for this post.
So, for the marbling I used CG Little Drummer Boy, Virtual Violet and Icing's Preppy Purple. I love this combo. It is a pretty subtle contrast between the colors but I like the sparkle in Virtual Violet and the subtle shimmer in Little Drummer Boy.
Just for fun here is a swatch of Icing's Preppy Purple. A pretty light Lilac pearly shimmer. This is Three easy coats. Icing polishes have great formulas and an excellent brush and what's even better it seems like Icing polishes are always on sale!
I hope ya'll like and thanks for stopping by and a thanks to Miss Glitta Gloves for having me <333,
<3 Cristina
