I wish this animal existed.

Hello lacquered lovelies! Happy pink Wednesday! This is my last post for this week (until Sunday!) because I have, like I mentioned on Monday, something else planned for you. I'm really excited and I hope you guys enjoy! I need a bit of a break from the six times a week posting (although I did miss last Saturday... shameful). I love posting and interacting with you guys, talking on twitter, reading your comments (especially when I have to work - I have you lovelies to thank for the fact that I haven't straight up slaughtered someone yet LOL) but I'm feeling gross and wiped out lately - a couple of days will do me well. And like I said, I did plan ahead! :)

EDIT: By the by, there's a pink Wednesday twitter now! :)

Anyway, today I have a fun mani for you. I've really been wanting to Konad lately but I've been feeling lazy/uninspired, and then I realized that unless I really mess up (haha oh the things I could show you guys), it's probably going to look decent, so I went for it. I started out with three coats of China Glaze 108 Degrees, because I've been dying to wear it again. Don't tell anyone though! It's just so beautiful. Then I Konaded over it using M57, as always, and Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme. Topped it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

Simple and fun, I got a lot of compliments on this one! I smudged the stamping a bit, which is annoying me, but ah well, I did the stamping with about ten minutes left before I had to leave for work! Jen and I wish that there was an animal that looked like this... we would bring it everywhere, we've decided. What do you lovelies think? What are your favourite colours from the Island Escape collection? I want to try some layering with them next.. :)

Thanks for reading! Have a beautiful day!

  4. I don't own any polishes from that collection however I do love this colour! It is quite dupe-able, but still gorgeous. (Perhaps that's why I own 3 almost identical shades to this! Haha.)

Love the print, and I would absolutely own that animal as a pet if it were real. :)

  11. Love this mani. I wish I didn't fail at stamping lol. I have this insane urge to dye my cat's fur. He'd chop me to pieces before I ever got near him though. ANYWAY. Lovely polish, lovely mani. I'm excited to see what you've got planned for us. :)
