Hello lacquered lovelies! Happy Monday. I hope your weeks are starting off well. Any plans for Valentine's Day tomorrow? I probably won't do a thing but I'm home for reading week and I'm just happy to be around my family... I needed a visit and this is my first time being home in about six months.
Before I get into today's post I wanted to apologise for the silence last week. Last month wasn't great and this month isn't shaping up to be any better, and last week was really just... awful. I don't really want to discuss it but thank you for your patience and hello to new readers :)
So today I've got a jelly sandwich to show you. I know I do them a lot (I love them so hard) but I couldn't think of a better way to wear one of the new pretties that came to me before I left. Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake is insane. You know how much I love square glitter. Multiple people told me I needed it and they were so right. It's beautiful.
I started out with two coats of OPI Funny Bunny, a lovely squishy white jelly. One of my favourites for sandwiches. Then I added one coat of Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake (with a little bit of tweaking to add squares in where I thought there should be more), one careful coat of Funny Bunny (the important thing with jelly sandwiches is to make sure that your top layer is a nice even coat, otherwise the glitter won't show through properly) and finished it off with Revlon quick dry. Less talking, more pictures, yes?
Also, ONF is INSANE. I included a bottle picture so you can see it, rather than me trying to describe it... but along with the square glitter, there's micro glitter in it that might not show up well until the macro and bottle shots... it's amazing. My jaw dropped when I saw it for the first time. <3

Aaaaand a bottle porn.
I freaking love this, obviously. I tweeted a picture of the bottle to Jen over the weekend and so many of you asked what it was!
Lynnderellas are kind of hard to obtain. I got three two sales ago on Llarowe, which is where Lynn is selling them now. It's honestly a mad dash to grab what you want - I got lucky! One of my very favourite YouTube gurus (I don't even want to admit how long I've been stalking watching her videos) Brooke gave me a heads up and I rushed right over! I've heard that they're going to be going live again soon, so if you're interested in grabbing any, keep your eyes peeled. I'm eyeing a couple from the Valentine's Day collection, Lovely is as Lovely Does - square glitterrrrrrrr.
There's a lot of drama surrounding Lynns, but I think it's best to ignore the drama and focus on the beautiful polishes she creates. If you don't mind a mad scramble, I think they're well worth the effort!
Okay long post over. What do you lovelies think? Do you own any Lynnderellas? Are there any you're eyeing?
Thanks for reading! Have a beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why I don't like square glitter at all. :/ If it was hexagonal, I'd def love it. :) Well the manicure is stunning of course, it's just me having problems with square glitter just like with bar glitter. xD And your nails are just stunning!!! :)
ReplyDeleteComing from miss gorgeous nails herself? Thank you love! <3 Square glitter isn't for everyone but I think it looks fun tehe!
DeleteGorgeous!! <3

ReplyDelete*_* So pretty! I've seen several swatches of one nutty fruitcake and I must say this is the best layering I've seen! Love it!! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie!! <3
DeleteGorgeous polish! :) Just one question though: could you maybe turn your pictures so that your hand isn't upside down? It's a little disorienting to me...
ReplyDeleteI asked about this on twitter haha. I take pictures upside down because it makes my hands look less small and fat. I think my solution from now on will be to post pictures both ways. Thank you for your honesty!
DeleteYay for gorgeous nails <3.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that!!!! I have all of Lynnderella's retail offerings and they are the pride and joy of my collection. SO wonderful!!
