Shimmer Polish swatches, part two *pic heavy*

Hello lacquered lovelies! Happy hump day! The weekend is approaching, yay! Any plans? I'm just working for the next few days. Holiday hours start soon so I'm not very excited for that haha.

Today I've got the second part of my Shimmer Polish swatches. Here's the first half if you missed them - Cindy makes some really lovely and complex glitters and I'm excited to show you the second half!

Each Shimmer is swatched over two coats of base colour. This time I varied between one and two coats depending on how I thought it looked, so I'll specify before each set of photos.

Once again, swatches start under the jump - there's six this time and multiple pictures of each so.... :)

First up is Jasmine. I layered one coat of Jasmine over Essie Cocktail Bling. I love this combo and Jasmine is lovely, Aladdin was always my favourite Disney movie growing up (whitest Arab people ever though, good job Disney) and this totally makes me think of Princess Jasmine. :)

Next up is Vicki. I layered two coats of Vicki over OPI Mod About You. I thought this combination was cute but Vicki didn't wow me. I think I need to try her over a different polish, maybe one that contrasts more so it really pops.

This is Tracy. I layered one coat of Tracy over Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Ion. I really liked this combination, even though gold most definitely does not love my skintone haha. Also, Tracy has bar glitter in it, for anyone way of it. My macro doesn't show any but you can see it on my middle fingernail if you click to enlarge. It's interesting bar glitter, it's not as long as some of the bars I've seen and it's chubbier haha.

Now we have Lorene. I layered two coats of Lorene over two coats of OPI Pamplona Purple. Lorene is one of my favourites from this batch, I love the combination of glitters. It looks like a party!

This is Alice. I layered one coat of Alice over one coat of Essie Mesmerize. This looks so wintry! Alice was a sleeper favourite for me, I wasn't expecting to be wowed but layered over darker colours she's gorgeous :)

Last up is Rochelle. I layered two coats of Rochelle over OPI Danke-Shiny Red. I've worn this one as a full manicure twice now, I love the combination! I think it looks quite Christmas-y but my mom thought it was very autumnal. What do you think?

Whew! So many pictures! What do you guys think? Have any Shimmer Polishes caught your eye? My favourites from this round are probably Lorene and Rochelle (I'm a sucker for black glitter, what can I say?).

In other news, these are some of the last sunlight photos you'll see from me in a while. Winter is officially here, we have snow and everything. I did, however, finally build myself a lightbox, and I posted a couple of tester pictures on my instagram (glittagloves) that you guys seemed to respond pretty well to, so hopefully all systems are a go there - I'll have my first test post up with some photos taken in it soon!

You can buy Shimmer Polish from Cindy's Etsy shop. She's currently on vacation but she'll be back on 26th November. I hope she's having a wonderful time!

Thanks for reading! Have a beautiful day!
