Hello lacquered lovelies! Happy Saturday! Today I've got swatches of some really beautiful glitters to share with you guys :)
You've probably heard of Shimmer Polish. Shimmer Polish is an indie brand masterminded by a lovely lady named Cindy. These are the types of glitters that I think have gotten a bit lost in the craziness of our indie obsession - metallic glitters all the way through. I'm not knocking indie sellers for using matte glitter (I love matte glitter so hard, more pls) but honestly, when I started seeing Shimmer Polish swatches popping up everywhere I started to remember that there are other types of glitters than just the mattes that I've been obsessing over haha.
Cindy creates glitters that are like the glitters that got me into polish in the first place (and earned me my nickname that became the name of this blog!). They're dense and sparkly and fascinating. I got these a few weeks ago and it's taken me so long to post them because I've been wearing each one as a full manicure... or with one of the glitters on each hand :) It's gotten some weird looks but whatever, I thought it was fun!
For all of the swatches I have two coats of the Shimmer Polish glitter over two coats of a base colour. I used my homemade peel-off basecoat and topped each one with 1-2 layers of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.
Let's start below a cut because there's a lot of photos!
